AFTERGLOW OF A BURLESQUE WORKSHOP

Silk Studio hosted a special Galentine’s-inspired burlesque experience just before Valentine’s Day and we’re still glowing! Seriously. We’re warm all over.

Our curated 2-hour Sultry Boudoir Burlesque Workshop was led by the dazzling instructor and performer Piper Daily.  (P.S. If you don’t know Piper, you can learn more about her by visiting her instructor page and then following her on Instagram.)

This event was a long time in the making. Piper and I starting talking about this in the Fall of last year. We worked together to plan a sensual movement and burlesque experience that was low pressure and light hearted. 

Piper Daily kicked off the event with an ice breaker and then the class dove right into sensual explorations with props. 

This event was perfect for beginners and the experienced alike. We had a beautiful mix of first-timers and experienced burlesque dancers in the workshop and they did amazing. Simply stunning.

The sensual sequence Piper offered slowly unraveled over the course of the class giving everyone a chance to grasp the material and explore their own sensuality further. By the end, it was a gorgeous routine and a sight to behold.

Afterwards, we sipped and snacked on some sweet treats and obviously posed for pictures. Everyone left with a goodie bag and a smile on their face.

You don’t have to be Josephine, Jean, or Dita to capture the beauty, glamour, and confidence of burlesque; you just have to be you.
